We specialize in S.M.A.R.T (Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques) reconditioning to reduce repair time and cost for our clients. Our leadership and technicians have decades of industry experience and are committed to innovation, quality, and exceeding client expectations.
Currently, we offer mobile services and "one-stop" reconditioning programs for car dealers in the Midwest. In addition, we offer our industry leading techniques and services direct to retail consumers at limited retail locations.

Kevin Montijo
President / Owner
Kevin has been in the automotive business for over 20 years. He first started Kevin’s Car Cosmetics in 1995, a mobile touch up service with one truck and grew that business into KCC Acquisitions, a full service reconditioning company. He has founded and operated some of the largest reconditioning companies in the Midwest. He completed Paintless Dent Repair certification training in 1996 in Kansas at U.S Dent Corp. He has practiced and developed small to medium area repair techniques (S.M.A.R.T) in automotive painting, PDR, interior repair, alloy wheel repair, windshield repair, and detailing.
He is also a board member of A Better Hope Foundation, a charity that helps support independent living for adults with Autism in the Midwest.
Jose Bedoya
Chief Operations Officer
Jose Studied Automotive Collision repair at College of Lake County. He received ICarr certifications in Automotive refinishing, automotive estimating, and small business management. Soon after that in 2004, he started to work for a startup franchise called AutoQual. While there, he trained new employees on how to perform automotive interior repairs on leather, vinyl and fabric. He remained at this company for eight years until 2012 when he joined Auto FX. His skills now include advanced repairs on cracked plastic, dashboards, windshield repair, and leather stitching. He is also responsible for training technicians, and R&D of new products for AutoFX.
Carolyn Drexler
Human Resource and Analytics
Carolyn joined Auto FX in 2016 bringing knowledge gained from several industries including automotive, retail, and finance. She has over 15 years experience in Human Resources working from small companies to the Fortune 50. She specializes in Business Systems and Analytics.
Bridgitt Montijo
Controller
Bridgitt is officer and founder of Autofx Inc. She started doing payroll in 1997 for Kevin’s Car Cosmetics, later managing HR, accounts payable and receivables, and accounting for KCC. In 2009, she joined the AR group of companies doing payroll and autobody estimating. In 2012, she and Kevin Montijo started Autofx Inc.
She also sits on the board of A Better Hope Foundation, a charity that helps support independent living for adults with Autism in the Midwest.
Cheyenne Montijo
Business Development and Marketing
Cheyenne joined Auto FX in late 2018 from Accenture bringing IT experience within the public and private sectors. Her experience with a diverse client base as well as her broad knowledge coming from consulting services is ideal for maintaining and developing client relationships.
